Sarah has a strong belief that a holistic, healthy, balanced lifestyle is the key to help achieve a happy and fulfilled life. Her aim is to help people deepen their awareness of themselves through the practise of Yoga, Meditation and Reiki, which in turn will inspire them to become more disciplined, enabling them to acquire improved fitness for mind, body and soul. Sarah has recently returned from India, where she trained directly with the Iyengar Family, deepening her knowledge of the power and health benefits of Yoga, Pranayama (yogic breathing) and Meditation.
Sharing her passion of the benefits of yoga with others keeps her committed to attending Iyengar Yoga Conventions Internationally and throughout the U.K., continuing to attain additional knowledge and experience. Enjoyment and the feeling of well-being comes from her dedication to the study and practice of yoga. Yoga is a life long learning process. Enjoyment comes from the natural progression of attaining the postures, but more importantly, in finding the inner peace and clarity that Yoga can bring to life is something that Sarah aims to share with you!
Sarah is a member of the International Iyengar Yoga Association.
Only fully qualified teachers in the Iyengar method who have been examined by the Iyengar Yoga Association can use the term Iyengar in their teaching qualifications and bear the Iyengar Certification Mark.
As a holistic practitioner, Sarah believes that the ultimate goal is to achieve the deepest sense of contentment, relaxation, health and happiness possible. Many complementary therapies are known to have been practised by various ancient civilisations for thousands of years. Many people are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of finding time to relax and unwind away from the pressures of today’s busy lifestyles. Stress, fatigue and long working hours put strain on the body’s immune system. Both Reiki and Reflexology brings a sense of deep relaxation and brings the body back into balance, heals and promotes overall health. Both therapies treat the person as an individual with amazing results which gives me a zest to continue my studies of complimentary healthcare and to offer treatments to improve the way the body functions, increase vitality and enhance the feeling of ultimate well-being. This in turn, enables you to sustain the energy and motivation to live your life to the full!
